Oh man, Frodo is really affectionate if he trusts people. The biggest recievers of his embraces are his Uncle, Gandalf, their wizard, and his beloved cousins and Samwise. He tends to immediately rush towards the hug, arms already half-way extended, and for someone so small and weakened by his unfortunate circumstances - this little fella holds on pretty tight, squeezing shoulders, leaning full into the other’s shoulder if they’re taller, or pressing a hand to the back of the other’s head if they’re shorter. 

Despite being the most gentle out of the four hobbits, he’s actually probably one of the most affectionate, tight huggers when it comes to the art of hobbit hugs. Or so I like to think!
