Of all the absolute nerve this was the worst. Dropped off in some foreign place as if she were a mere sack of goods! Unforgivable! An insult not only to her but her entire kingdom! If Kimlasca’s Princess could be treated in such a manner then it would be no different than treating each and every one of her citizens in the same breath.
Her real Father is a Lion, and if that is so, then she is a Lioness, wearing silks and perfumed hair.
“So you claim that I have been taken? For little more reason than a game?”Her voice is deceptively calm, green eyes hooded and hands in perfect posture in her lap.
But lions were prone to roar, and this Princess, whose sole obligation was to her people, did not take such a ..a joke as this lightly.
“You will unhand me at once!”With a raised voice that all but filled the small room they had kept her in, Natalia ignored the amused glances, opening her mouth — pretty face painted in fury.
“You would deprive a Princess from the sole reason for which she serves, her people and her seat at her Father’s side! I cannot think of a more despicable act! All for a paltry game of experimentation, who do you think you are, sirs, madams? The Colonel? You are a pale imitation! If you think I will sit idly as you think to enslave innocents then you are mistaken! “
Her shoulders quivered.
"If you think you can enslave my spirit then you are a fool, every one of you! Kimlasca will answer to this crime when justice finds it’s arrow on you and all your disgusting allies! You may take my weapons and artes but you are weak! Weak to use such cowardice!”
With her voice still trembling with the residue of her all but roar, the Princess lifted one delicate, painted finger.
"Take heed…”“I will remember your faces.” Her voice was measured. “Each —and every one! And you will certainly remember mine!”
