"I should like to save the Shire, if I could - though there have been times when I thought the inhabitants too stupid and dull for words, and have felt that an earthquake or an invasion of dragons might be good for them. But I don't feel like that now. I feel that as long as the Shire lies behind, safe and comfortable, I shall find wandering more bearable: I shall know that somewhere there is a firm foothold, even if my feet cannot stand there again."
"I see no hope of it now. But I've got to do the best I can."
Anonymous wondered,
Which do you prefer Mr. Frodo: cats or dogs?
A pause, before a large black nose pushes his hand. Soft brown eyes peer upwards, into the inquirer’s face, a pink tongue lolling out of beaming lips. A tiny hand settles atop a golden head, smiling as head bumps against a hip with the utmost care.
“I’m not quite certain I could say, but whatever means me no harm is an ally of mine. Although this lovely Miss has truly won my heart. I am indebted to Miss Sera and to this young lass, Lady Goldberry, for her kindness and goodness to me. She is as lovely as her namesake.” The mentioned lady pressed her snout to the hobbit’s worn cheek, tail wagging furiously, though no jumps were made. It seemed the love was shared, and the little man she regarded as hers was all too happily stroking her soft head. It seemed Frodo had his question already answered for him now.
So Frodo can be seen now with his large golden retriever friend, Lady Goldberry. Remember Tom Bombadil if you guys read the books ( it’s okay if you didn’t let’s be real they’re long as hell ) but Frodo kind of had a crush on her and it was really cute okay so he gave her a lady’s name uwu because she is his gentle lady therapist/dog and he needs someone to fill the hole that his Uncle and Sam left.
So yeah please be nice to his dog or he’ll come after you. ʘ‿ʘ
